Distribution is handled through GitHub Releases.
In `1.1`, it also adds mark output to Final Cut Pro XML and updates the external integration UI and menu structure.
What it adds
Mapbox-backed background generation
Video backgrounds are fetched from Mapbox, then the route and icon are composited in the app.
Final Cut Pro XML mark output
Marks created in Vroma can be carried into an FCPXML workflow for later editing steps.
Updated integration UI
The current external integration and export paths are reorganized around the updated menu structure.
Carry marks from review into export workflows.
Marks created on iPhone can be reviewed on Mac, then carried into Final Cut Pro XML output and map video export workflows inside Vroma Studio.
Video export uses your own Mapbox public token.
The app itself is free. To export videos, you configure your own Mapbox public token (pk...) for background image requests. Any Mapbox cost depends on your own account and usage.
Vroma Studio only presents Mapbox as an external service used for video backgrounds. Mapbox contracts, billing, and service-side issues are outside the app support scope.
Reference for API usage
Actual request counts vary by route length, movement, and framing. Vroma Studio does not fetch one map image per frame. It reuses keyframe backgrounds and composites the rest locally.
