Vroma Studio (macOS / Direct Download) Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the direct-download macOS edition of Vroma Studio.

2. Information We Process

• GPX files selected by the user, including route points, names, descriptions, timestamps, and coordinates
• Edit outputs and video export settings
• The Mapbox public token (pk...) configured by the user

3. Purpose of Use

• Viewing and editing GPX tracks
• Map-based replay of recorded routes
• Map video export

4. External Transmission

• Location-related data is processed by Apple through MapKit as required for map display and replay.
• During video export, coordinates, display bounds, and the user-configured Mapbox public token are sent to Mapbox to fetch map images.

5. Storage

• GPX files remain in the user-selected folder (local storage or iCloud Drive).
• App settings are stored locally on the device.
• The Mapbox public token is stored in the device Keychain.

6. Retention and Deletion

• GPX files stay in the selected storage location until the user deletes them.
• The Mapbox public token can be removed from the app settings.
• Generated or edited files can be deleted by the user at any time.

7. Third-Party Disclosure

• Except where required by law, user data is not provided to third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
• Data needed for map display and replay is processed through Apple services.
• Data needed for video export is processed through Mapbox.

8. User Controls

• Users choose which files and folders to open.
• The Mapbox public token can be added, updated, or removed.
• Generated or edited files can be deleted by the user at any time.
