Vroma Studio (macOS) Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to the macOS application "Vroma Studio" (the "App").
2. Information We Process
- GPX content selected by the user (coordinates, timestamps, and route metadata).
- Edit outputs and export settings used for video generation.
- Map-rendering data: location-related data (including route coordinates) is sent to Apple to display and render maps with Apple MapKit.
3. Purpose of Use
- GPX visualization and editing.
- Map-video generation and local export.
- App maintenance and quality improvements.
4. Storage and Transmission
- Data is stored in user-selected destinations (local folder or iCloud Drive) and local app settings.
- Vroma Studio recommends using iCloud Drive for GPX storage to simplify synchronization with Vroma (iPhone).
- If iCloud Drive is selected, GPX files are stored and synchronized via Apple's iCloud.
- Location-related data is sent to Apple as required for map display and video rendering with Apple MapKit.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
- Except where required by law, we do not provide user data to third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
- However, data required for map display (MapKit) and iCloud synchronization is processed via Apple services.
6. User Controls
- Users choose which files and folders to open.
- The GPX storage destination (local or iCloud Drive) can be chosen and changed by the user.
- Generated or edited files can be deleted by the user at any time.

This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change.
